When your printer has been used for some time, it's print job will become not as good as new one, you need to clean the toner cartridge and other printer components periodically. Turn off the power of printer and unplug the power cord for 1 hour, allow to cool down the heat in the printer before cleaning. Open your cover and remove the toner cartridge. Pull the toner cloth gently several times to activate the cloth. Toner cloths are designed to capture loose toner powder in the air. Wipe gently the toner cartridge and head thoroughly with the toner cloth. Many toner cartridges have a protective cover over the print head that also should be cleaned. Remove spilled toner inside and outside of the printer with the toner vacuum, taking care not to touch or break any exposed wires in the printer. Install the toner cartridge back and power the printer on to resume normal use of your printer.
